Awesome stuff! I'm a big fan of deliberately crafted corporate culture. All too often it's done poorly, with management coming up with some buzzwords and keen slogans and then shouting at their staff about how they're supposed to be peppy. I think of Jen Aniston in Office Space and how she is badgered to do more than the minimum "flair".

What's great about Melrose is that you already have an outstanding culture from which to make this change. You folks have, from my perspective, the best overall staff and management mix of any drinking establishment that I frequent. In a large part, I think it's because staff and management are on the same page about what it means to you all to be Melrose.

I look forward to seeing the ways that you can make the Heart of the Red Mile even better!

Why is your food so terrible and the service so slow?

Your gnocchi was freshly heated up and your burger was taken right from a Presidents Choice box of burgers (the cheaper one I'm sure).

This is where I will take girls I'm going to break up with from now on.

after watching the season premiere, Napoleon vs George Washington I won't be watching any more episodes. What a bunch of horse dung! Nobody with any knowledge of history would in the rate Washington a better general than Napoleon! Yorktown wasn't field battle, it was siege. where only the presence of the French fleet made the American victory possible. And since when did the show take information for granted. Washington's sword was claimed to be able to counter a sabre, but was never even put to the test. What a piece of crap!! Just to please the home audience!!
